Monkey Mia

Monkey Mia

Monkey Mia is one of the most beautiful spots in Western Australia near the sea. It’s part of the Shark Bay Heritage Site.
Dolphins come to welcome you and it’s a truly magical moment. There are many amazing sights from the foreshore. The sea is an aqua blue, its calm and inviting.
We stayed at the tourist park, many cabins to stay with views either over the sea or over the pools. A restaurant onsite with many culinary delights to enjoy, a cool drink from the many bars and of course at times the dolphins are the to greet you. A general store with everything you can imagine buying. All the survineers and I forgot items, also a treat or two.
Boat tours for many people to go on and see all Monkey Mia offers, this is the best way to enjoy this magical place. Look for turtles, large dugongs, sharks, sting rays, and fish in the ocean. A welcome sight for all.
We walked along the beach, travelled by boat to see the all the sea creatures. Parked ourselves early on the wharf to see the dolphins. A great photo spot on the wharf. Enjoyed many meals at the restaurant, watched the dolphins from outside bar seats. Watched the sunsets, had a swim in the sea and pool.
Bring your sunglasses, hat, sun scream, rashie, swimmers as this is all you will need.
Stay for a week or two and enjoy everything Monkey Mia offers.
